BOOK DROPS
Located in front of the building in the parking lot accessible 24 hours a day. We have 2 drops. One is for DVD's, Videos & CD's ONLY! The other is for books and magazines ONLY! When returning items in the book drops, please make sure the items fall into the drop box and do not remain just inside the door.
COMPUTERS
At the present time our library has 15 computers for public use. Patrons may use the computers for 30 minutes ,2 times daily. These computers provide full access to the Internet plus access to several electronic databases . Our computers use Windows XP with Microsoft Office 2007. Please bring a flash drive from home to save any work as the computers will not save your work. You will need to have a library card and sign a policy compliance form. Your library card must have fines under $1.00 to use the computers.
WIRELESS
We have a wireless router which is available for use during normal library hours. You may use laptop/notebook computers anywhere inside the library. Stop at the desk for the current password.
PRINTERS
We have a HP LaserJet 4050tn printer which prints in black and white. Cost is $0.15 per sheet . We also have a HP LaserJet 4550 Color printer. Cost is $0.50 per sheet.
COPY MACHINE
Our copy machine can copy front and back, enlarge or shrink, and costs $0.15 per copy per side.. We also have COLOR copies which are $0.50 per sheet.

Here is a list of dies that we have available
The Ellison Machine is a hand operated die cutting machine. It cuts anything scissors can cut in a fraction of the time. It will cut as many as eight pieces of paper with one push of the handle. You must bring your OWN paper to use the machine. Most shapes are 4". We have 4" alphabet letters and 2" alphabet letters.
FAX MACHINE
We will send faxes at the cost of $2.00 for the first page and $0.25 for each additional page.You can receive a fax at the cost of $0.15/page. There is a $1.00 charge to send faxes to a local or toll free number. Our fax number is 419-288-3766.
ITEM HOLDS
If we do not have an item we can request it from another library. There is no charge for this service. You can place holds from home by going to our catalog. Click REQUEST ITEM and follow the directions. You will need your library card number to place holds. The pin number (unless you have requested a specific PIN) is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
LAMINATING
We can laminate items up to 25" wide and charge $1.00 per foot with a $1.00 minimum charge. We also have wallet size and luggage size lamination for $0.50 per card.
LOCAL HISTORY
We have the Wayne Observer on microfilm from Sept. 30, 1898 -Sept. 30, 1954 (there are some gaps in the dates). We also have an obituary file for deaths in Wayne and Bradner that has various records back to the first of the century. We do have a few publications with historical information about Wayne, Prairie Depot and Freeport that were published during the bicentennial and sesquicentennial celebrations in Wayne. We also have various cemetery records for townships within Wood County.

MEETING ROOM
Our meeting room is available for public use. There is $25 fee required to use the room. We have a BIG screen television available for use. You must sign a TV Policy form if you wish to use our TV. Call 419-288-2708 for more information or to reserve the room and check our calendar events for possible conflicts of dates.
Library budget cuts for 2010 will require additional closings beyond the standard holidays. The use of the community room during extended closings of 3 days or more will require at least a 30 day notice so the Board may consider each individual request for use at a regularly scheduled meeting.
NOTARY PUBLIC
We have a notary public on staff at all times. There is a charge of $1.00 per document for this service.
PAPER SHREDDER
You are required to bring your own garbage bag and take the shredded paper with you. There is no cost for this service.
PAPER CUTTER
We have a paper cutter available for in-Library use only. Ask at the front desk.
